I came across an article published in The Wall Street Journal Online from April of 2014 written by Charles Koch entitled: "I'm Fighting to Restore A Free Society."

Unfortunately, the fundamental concepts of dignity, respect, equality before the law and personal freedom are under attack by the nation's own government. That's why, if we want to restore a free society and create greater well-being and opportunity for all Americans, we have no choice but to fight for those principles. I have been doing so for more than 50 years, primarily through educational efforts. It was only in the past decade that I realized the need to also engage in the political process.What caught my attention was the illustration gracing the article was the original Daily Kos mast head flag waving guy!!
While the illustration was attributed to "Getty Images" it is defiantly the original mast head painting from the early Daily Kos website.
Somehow seeing our familiar progressive banner along side Charles Koch's justification for why he's buying the political process was a quite noticeable juxtaposition ...
You would have thought The Wall Street Journal was sophisticated enough to catch such ideological train wreck ...
